. It is a perfect way for visitors to feel they are away from it all despite being near one of the greatest population centers in the United States. Crystal Cove State Park has 32 miles of beach 2400 acres of backcountry wilderness which is popular for outdoor enthusiasts and an offshore underwater area. This loop provides visitors with a tour of the El Moro Canyon then climbs over 800 feet in elevation to the ridgeline where some of the best coastline views in the park can be seen.
Nearly 900 springs bubble to the surface in Florida. There is a parking fee here. The beach is popular with swimmers and surfers.
The trail begins and ends at the El Moro Visitor Center just north of the Crystal Cove State Park Campground. The beach is a good quarter-mile from the campground down a hill and through a tunnel under Highway 1. The Laguna Art Museum focuses on California artists.
Visitors can explore tidepools and sandy coves. If you want to get down to the water put on your walking shoes. A center for artists there are a number of special events and festivalssuch as the Sawdust Art Festival Festival of ArtsPageant of the Masters Art-A-Fair and Plein Air Painting Invitational.

With its golden grasslands iconic oak woodlands stands of redwood forest chaparral and views of the Golden Gate Bridge Mount Tamalpais State Park captures the heart of Marin County. The inland portion of Crystal Cove State Park is a hidden gem of the Orange County region from the wooded Moro Canyon up to the spectacular coastal views of Moro Ridge. While fog is a defining aspect of the ecosystem on clearer days hikers can see the Farallon Islands the San Francisco bay the cities of the East Bay and even as far as Mount Diablo.
